About Us

Momas Kitchen

Momas Kitchen is a bakery business located in Rowlands Gill, Gateshead, the small village and surrounding villages of Highfield, Burnopfield, Winlaton Mill are all catered for.

We set up Momas Kitchen to provide our customers with honest home cooked pies, cakes, buscuits and of course our delicious home cooked roast lunches.

Coming from a very large family and where food was a major part of our everyday life there was such an easy and natural progression to take our family secret recipes and bring them to the general public.

Gluten Free

With our business going from strength to strength we were keep getting asked about Gluten Free food so after alot of research we decided to bring this to our menus, especially when one of my family members (my granddaughter) was diagnosed coeliac. All our meals and bakery items can be made Gluten Free but these have to be ordered in advance.

We hope you enjoy all our meals and our home cooked food, made with all the care and attention that was taught to me from my mother and was taught to her from hers.
